Question:
Do the Rawāfiḍ (Rafidah/Shiʿah extremists) hold reverence for Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها?

Answer:
Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah hold love, reverence, and respect for all the Mothers of the Believers, including Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها. They are pleased when her virtues are mentioned and consider it an act of faith to honor her.
In contrast, the Rawāfiḍ harbor hatred and enmity toward Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها.
Prophetic Proof:
❀ The Prophet ﷺ said to his daughter Fāṭimah رضي الله عنها:
أى بنية ألست تحبين ما أحب؟ فقالت: بلىٰ، قال: فأحبي هذه
“O my daughter, do you not love the one whom I love?” She replied: “Indeed.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “Then love ʿĀʾishah.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, 2442)
Scholar’s Statement:
❀ Ḥāfiẓ Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله (597 AH):
أما أهل السنة فقلوبهم بالفرح عند ذكر عائشة طائشة، وأما الرافضة فتأخذهم حمى نافضة
“When Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها is mentioned, the hearts of Ahl al-Sunnah are filled with joy, while the Rawāfiḍ are seized by a feverish trembling.”
Conclusion:- Ahl al-Sunnah love and revere Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها, in accordance with the command and love of the Prophet ﷺ.
- The Rawāfiḍ, on the other hand, hold enmity towards her, which is a deviation from the way of the Prophet ﷺ and the Companions.
