If a person wishes to remain safe from the harm of enemies, envy, magic, evil eye, or other dangers, there are numerous effective supplications and adhkār mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah which are highly beneficial for protection.
The Noble Prophet ﷺ said:
"Sūrah Al-Fātiḥah is a cure for every disease."
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī: 5736)
Reciting Surah Al-Fātiḥah and the first five verses of Surah Al-Baqarah offers protection from the harm of enemies and every kind of harm.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"And when he recites it, no devil comes near him."
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī: 2311)
This verse is extremely powerful for protection against enemies, sorcery, and satanic influences.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"When you go to sleep at night, recite Surah Al-Ikhlāṣ, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nās three times. They will suffice for your protection from everything."
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī: 5017)
Reciting these Surahs three times in the morning and evening provides protection against enemy harm, envy, magic, and other dangers.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Yā Sīn. By the wise Qur’an."
(Tirmidhī: 2887)
If one fears enemy harm, reciting Surah Yā Sīn every morning is highly effective.
The Prophet ﷺ said that in times of enemy threat, recite the following:
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِيهِمْ بِمَا شِئْتَ
"O Allah! Suffice me against them in whatever way You will."
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim: 3005)
If an enemy attempts to cause harm, this supplication should be recited frequently.
Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه, the Prophet ﷺ said:
"O Allah! I seek Your protection from the whispers of the heart, the evils of deeds, the trials of time, and the harm of enemies."
Reciting this supplication seven times a day is highly beneficial.
The Prophet ﷺ taught this supplication to ʿAlī
"In the name of Allah, I protect my religion, myself, my children, my family, and my wealth."
When faced with enemy-induced distress, this should be recited morning and evening.
Whenever Sayyidunā ʿUmar رضي الله عنه sensed danger from enemies, he would recite Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nās seven times and say:
"These are the best shields from Allah."
In case of enemy threat, recite these Surahs seven times morning and evening.
"Whoever recites the following supplication three times every morning shall remain safe from all harm:"

"In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the earth or in the sky can cause harm. He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing."
