“When you go to your bed, recite Ayat al-Kursi in full:
«اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ»
From the beginning to the end.
And he (Shayṭān) said to me: A guardian from Allah will be appointed for you, and the Shayṭān will not come near you until morning.”
Then the Noble Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"Indeed, although he is a liar, he told you the truth. That was Shayṭān."
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Hadith No. 2311)
❖ Question:
How can one attain protection from the accursed Shayṭān (devil) before going to sleep?❖ Answer:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه that indeed Shayṭān said to him:“When you go to your bed, recite Ayat al-Kursi in full:
«اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ»
