❖ Are the Prophets Superior or the Kaʿbah? ❖

Question:
Are the Prophets superior, or is the Kaʿbah superior?
Answer:
Undoubtedly, the Prophets عليهم السلام are the most superior of all creation.
❀ ʿAllāmah Abū ʿAbdillāh al-Qurṭubī رحمه الله (d. 671H) said:
إن الأنبياء خير من الكعبة باتفاق الأمة.
“The Prophets عليهم السلام are superior to the Kaʿbah, by the consensus of the Ummah.”
(Tafsīr al-Qurṭubī: 1/289)
Conclusion:By unanimous agreement of the Ummah, the Prophets عليهم السلام hold a status far greater than the Kaʿbah itself.
