Is there any evidence for the treatment of envy (ḥasad)?
Yes.
Umm al-Mu’minīn ‘Ā’ishah (رضي الله عنها) narrated:
«أمرني النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم أو أمر أن نسترقي من العين»
“The Prophet ﷺ ordered me — or ordered us — to seek ruqyah (spiritual healing) against the evil eye.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Kitāb al-Ṭibb, Bāb Ruqyah al-‘Ayn, ḥadīth no. 5738; Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, ḥadīth no. 2195)
