This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mosuli's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
ما من صاحب ذهب ولا فضة لا يؤدي منها حقها إلا إذا كان يوم القيامة صفحت له صفائح من نار فأحمي عليها فى نار جهنم فيكوى بها جنبه و جبينه و ظهره كلما بردت أعيدت له فى يوم كان مقداره خمسين ألف سنة حتى يقضى بين العباد فيرى سبيله إما إلى الجنة و إما إلى النار
"If a person who owns gold and silver does not pay its zakat, then on the Day of Resurrection, plates (slabs) of fire will be prepared for him, then they will be heated in the fire of Hell, then his forehead, his sides, and his back will be branded with them. Whenever they cool down, they will be heated again, and this process will continue with him on that day for fifty thousand years, until the judgment among the servants is made. Then he will be shown his path, either towards Paradise or towards Hell."
It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! What about camels? He said:
ولا صاحب إبل لا يؤدي منها حقها ومن حقها حلبها يوم وردها إلا إذا كان يوم القيامة بطح لها بقاع قرقر أوفر ما كانت لا يفقد منها فصيلا واحدا تطأه بأخفافها و تعضه بأفواهها كلما مر عليه أولاها رد عليه أخراها فى يوم كان مقداره خمسين ألف سنة حتى يقضى بين العباد فيرى سبيله إما إلى الجنة و إما إلى النار
"Similarly, the owner of camels who does not pay their due, their right is that when they are brought to the watering place, their milk is milked out (and given to the poor). Then on the Day of Resurrection, he will be laid upside down on a smooth, slippery plain, and all his wealth, even the camel calf whose milk was taken, will trample him with their hooves and bite him with their mouths. And on that day, which will last fifty thousand years, this process will continue such that when the first animal passes, the last will be brought back, until the judgment among all servants is made, and he will be shown his path, either towards Paradise or towards Hell."
It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is the ruling regarding cows and goats? The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
ولا صاحب بقر ولا غنم لا يؤدي منها حقها إلا إذا كان يوم القيامة سطح له بقاع قرقر لا يفقد منها شيئا ليس فيها عقصاء ولا جلحاء ولا عضباء تنطحه بقرونها و تطأه بأظلافها كلما مر عليه أولاها رد عليه أخراها فى يوم كان مقداره خمسين ألف سنة حتى يقضى بين العباد فيرى سبيله إما إلى الجنة وإما إلى النار
"Similarly, if a person owns cows and goats but does not pay their due (zakat), then on the Day of Resurrection, he will be laid upside down on a smooth, slippery plain. There he will find none of his wealth lacking, nor any goat with inward-curved horns, nor hornless, nor any with broken horns. They will strike him with their horns and trample him with their hooves. And on that day, which will last fifty thousand years, this process will continue such that when one passes, another will be brought, until the judgment among all servants is made, and he will be shown his path, either towards Paradise or towards Hell."
Then it was asked: O Messenger of Allah! What about horses? The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
الخيل ثلاثة : هي لرجل وزر وهى لرجل ستر وهى لرجل أجر ، فأما الذى هي له وزر فرجل ربطها رياء و فخرا ونواء على أهل الإسلام فهي له وزر ، و أما التى له ستر فرجل ربطها فى سبيل الله ثم لم ينس حق الله فى ظهورها ولا رقابها فهي له ستر ، و أما التى هي له أجر فرجل ربطها فى سبيل الله لأهل الإسلام فى مرج وروضة فما أكلت من ذلك المرج والروضة من شيء إلا كتب له عدد ما أكلت حسنات و كتب له عدد أرواثها وأبوالها حسنات ولا تقطع طولها فاستنت شرفا أو شرفين إلا كتب الله له عدد آثارها وأرواثها حسنات ، ولا مر بها صاحبها على نهر فشربت منه ولا يريد أن يسقيها إلا كتب الله له عدد ما شربت حسنات
"Horses are of three types: one is a burden for a person, the second is a shield and protection, and the third is a reward for a person. So the horse which is a burden is the one that a person keeps for pride and show, and prepares it as an enemy against the Muslims; such a horse is a burden for its owner. As for the horse which is a shield and protection from Hellfire, it is the one that a person prepares for the cause of Allah, then does not forget Allah's right regarding riding it and doing good to it; such a horse is a shield and protection from Hellfire for its owner. And as for the horse which is a reward, it is the one that a person keeps in a pasture or garden for the sake of Allah's cause for the Muslims. Whatever it eats from that pasture or garden, as much as it eats, that much good deeds are recorded for its owner; and whatever it drinks, urinates, or defecates, all that is recorded as good deeds for its owner. And as much as it walks, makes one or two rounds, and the marks of its hooves, all are counted as good deeds. And if the owner takes it to a canal and it drinks water from there, even if the owner did not intend to give it water, Allah will record as many good deeds for him as the amount of water it drank."
It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! What about donkeys? The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
ما أنزل على فى الحمر شيء إلا هذه الآية الفاذة الجامعة ، فمن يعمل مثقال ذرة خيرا يره ومن يعمل مثقال ذرة شرا يره
"Allah has not revealed any ruling to me regarding donkeys except this rare verse which encompasses all matters: So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it."

② Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (RA) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
إنا الذى لا يؤدي زكاة ماله يخيل إليه ماله يوم القيامة شجاعا أقرع له زبيبتان فيلزمه - أى يطوقه - أنا كنزك أنا تركتك
"Whoever does not pay zakat on his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection, his wealth will be shaped into a bald snake whose two jaws will be foaming with poisonous foam, and it will be like a collar around his neck, and it will say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.'"

① Sayyida Umm Salamah رضي الله عنها narrates, I asked: O Messenger of Allah! If I spend on the children of Sayyidna Abu Salamah رضي الله عنه, will I get reward? While I cannot leave them like this because they are my own sons. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
نعم لك أجر ما أنفقت عليهم
"Yes! Whatever you spend on them, you will get its reward."

② Sayyidna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas رضي الله عنه narrates, in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم came to visit me while I was in severe pain. I said: O Messenger of Allah! As you see, I am suffering from some pain, I am a wealthy man and I have only one daughter who will be my heir. Should I give two-thirds of my wealth in charity? The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
لا "No."
I said: O Messenger of Allah! Half? The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
لا "No."
I said: One-third? The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
الثلث والثلث كثير أو كبير إنك أن تذر ورثتك أغنياء خير من أن تذرهم عالة يتكففون الناس ، و إنك لن تنفق نفقة تبتغي بها وجه الله إلا أجرت بها حتى ما تجعل فى في امرأتك
"One-third, and one-third is a lot. If you leave wealth to your heirs, it is better than leaving them needy so that they have to beg from people. And whatever you spend for the pleasure of Allah, you will be rewarded for it, even the morsel you put in your wife's mouth, you will be rewarded for it."
I said: O Messenger of Allah! Will I lag behind my companions (due to illness)? The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
إنك لن تخلف فتعمل عملا صالحا تبتغي به وجه الله إلا ازددت به درجة و رفعة ولعلك أن تخلف حتى ينتفع بك أقوام و يضر بك آخرون اللهم أمض لأصحابي هجرتهم ولا تردهم على أعقابهم
"No! You will never lag behind. The good deeds you do for the pleasure of Allah will increase your ranks and your status will continue to rise. And perhaps you will live long enough that some people will benefit from you and some will be harmed because of you. O Allah! Perfect the migration of my noble companions رضي الله عنهم and do not let them be turned back on their heels (i.e., do not let them die in Mecca)." But poor Sayyidna Sa'd bin Khawlah رضي الله عنه, for whom the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم expressed sorrow and compassion, passed away in Mecca itself.

③ Sayyidna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
ما من يوم يصبح فيه العباد إلا ملكان ينزلان يقول أحدهما: اللهم أعط منفقا خلفا ، ويقول الآخر: اللهم أعط ممسكا تلفا
"Every day when a servant wakes up in the morning, two angels descend; one of them says: O Allah! Give replacement to the one who spends (in charity). And the other says: O Allah! Destroy the one who withholds (is miserly)."
