Wearing a Ring on the Index and Middle Finger

Wearing a ring on the index finger (angusht-e-shahādat) and the middle finger is not permissible, because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it.
Hadith of ʿAlī (رضي الله عنه)
He said:
نهانى أن أضع الخاتم فى هذه أو فى هذه للسبابة والوسطي
“The Prophet ﷺ forbade me from wearing a ring on this (index finger) and this (middle finger).”

Conclusion:- It is forbidden to wear a ring on the index and middle fingers.
- The Sunnah is to wear it on the little finger (pinky).
