Ruling on Selling Juice or Items Used for Sin to a Wine Maker

① Hazrat Anas (رضي الله عنه) narrates:
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed ten people in connection with wine: the one who squeezes it, the one for whom it is squeezed, the one who drinks it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who serves it, the one who sells it, the one who consumes its price, the one who buys it, and the one for whom it is bought."

② Hazrat Barīrah (رضي الله عنها) narrates:
"Whoever withholds grapes during the harvest days in order to sell them to a Jew, a Christian, or anyone who will make wine from them, has knowingly entered the Fire."

In some narrations, there is the addition:
أو ممن يعلم أن يتخذه خمرا
"Or to one whom he knows will make wine from them."

Ruling:
It is impermissible to sell to a person who makes wine anything that will help him in its production. This extends to any sale of goods intended for sinful use.
Hazrat Abu Umamah (رضي الله عنه) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Do not buy or sell singing women, and do not teach them. There is no good in their trade, and their price is haram."

Prohibition of Assisting in the Making of Wine
