✿ Dua of Gratitude and Its Translation ✿

دُعَاءُ الشُّكْرِ لِلّٰهِ
اللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَالشُّكْرُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِجَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ وَعَظِيمِ سُلْطَانِكَ وَعُلُوِّ مَكَانِكَ. سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.
اللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ، وَالشُّكْرُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِجَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ وَعَظِيمِ سُلْطَانِكَ، وَمَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ، وَمَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ.
اللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى الْيُسْرِ وَالْعُسْرِ، اللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى نِعَمِكَ الَّتِي لَا يُحْصِيهَا غَيْرُكَ. اللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ، وَلِيًّا وَكَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِجَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ وَعَظِيمِ سُلْطَانِكَ.
الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الَّذِي عَلَا فَقَهَرَ، وَمَلَكَ فَقَدَّرَ، وَعَفَا فَغَفَرَ، وَعَلِمَ فَسَتَرَ، وَهَزَمَ وَنَصَرَ، وَخَلَقَ وَنَشَرَ.
الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدَرًا، وَجَعَلَ لِكُلِّ قَدَرٍ أَجَلًا، وَجَعَلَ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍ كِتَابًا.
اللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَالشُّكْرُ عَدَدَ ذَرَّاتِ الْكَوْنِ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَا وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ.
اللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لَا يَنْبَغِي إِلَّا لَكَ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْتَ الْمَهْيُومُ الَّذِي فُرِجَ فَلَكُ الْحَمْدُ.
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْأَلُكَ إِجَابَةَ الدُّعَاءِ وَنُزُولَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَالرَّخَاءِ. الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ الَّذِي أَحْصَى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا، وَجَعَلَ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ أَمَدًا، وَلَا يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَدًا.
✿ Translation ✿
① O Allah! All praise and thanks are for You, as befits the Majesty of Your Face, the greatness of Your Sovereignty, and the loftiness of Your rank. You are Glorified, O Allah! And with Your praise I exalt You. You are Glorified, O Lord of the Mighty Throne! All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
② O Allah! All praise is for You as You are worthy of it, and all thanks as befits the Majesty of Your Face and the greatness of Your Sovereignty. Whatever You will happens, and whatever You do not will, does not happen.
③ O Allah! All praise is for You in ease and in hardship. O Allah! All praise is for Your countless blessings which none but You can enumerate.
④ O Allah! All praise is for You as You are worthy of it — You are the Protector, and praise befits the Majesty of Your Face and the greatness of Your Sovereignty.
⑤ All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds, Who is Exalted and Dominant, the King and the Decreer, the One Who forgives and pardons, the All-Knowing Who conceals, the One Who defeats the enemy and grants victory, the Creator Who spreads forth.
⑥ All praise is for the Lord of the worlds Who appointed a measure for everything, a fixed term for every measure, and a prescribed record for every term.
⑦ O Allah! All praise and thanks are for You, equal to the number of particles in the universe — in the heavens, the earth, all that is between them, and all that lies beyond.
⑧ O Allah! All praise is for You — praise that is befitting only for You. There is no deity except You. You are the One Who resolves every matter of importance. So all praise is for You alone.
⑨ You are Glorified, O Allah, and with Your praise I exalt You. There is no deity except You. I ask You for the acceptance of supplication, the descent of mercy, and ease in affairs.
⑩ All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds, Who has enumerated everything in number, fixed a span for everything, and shares His command with no one.
