If it becomes impossible to construct a mosque on land endowed for that purpose, it is permissible to sell that land and purchase another location to build a mosque.
When the municipal committee prevents the establishment of an Islamic center on a particular plot of land and instead provides a better alternative plot to the organization, it is permissible to sell the original land and everything on it in order to purchase the new land. This also includes constructing a mosque and an Islamic center for education and religious activities on the new site.
