Narrated by ʿĀ’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her):
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once sent a sheep for sacrifice (towards the Sacred Sanctuary)."
غَنَمًا – Refers to both sheep and goats.
This ḥadīth establishes the permissibility of offering a goat as a sacrificial animal.
