❖ Ruling on Reciting Poetry in the Friday Sermon ❖

Is it permissible to recite poetry during the Friday Khutbah (sermon)?
الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام علىٰ رسول الله، أما بعد!
If the poetry:
① Contains correct and meaningful content
② Is in accordance with the Book and Sunnah
Then reciting such poetry in the Friday Khutbah or other Islamic gatherings is permissible.
In other words, poetry that aligns with Islamic teachings can be used appropriately during the sermon as well.
