Embracing Without Travel – In Light of the Hadith of Fatimah (RA)

Is it permissible to embrace (hug) someone without the occasion of travel?
❖ Answer
Alhamdulillah, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā baʿd!
Embracing without travel is permissible. The evidence for this is the Hadith of Fatimah (RA), which is mentioned in Tirmidhi and others.
