◈ Pardon Before Reaching the Court
If pardon is granted before the case reaches the court, then the ḥadd of qaḏf (slander) will be dropped.
As mentioned earlier in the ḥadīth, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
هلا كان قبل أن تاتيني به
"Why did you not do this before bringing him to me?"
