Number of Wives of the Prophet ﷺ at the Time of His Passing

Question:
How many wives were in the marriage of the Prophet ﷺ at the time of his passing?
Answer:
At the time of his passing, the Prophet ﷺ had nine wives.
❀ Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Kathīr (رحمه الله, 774 AH) states:
لا خلاف أنه عليه الصلاة والسلام، توفي عن تسع .
"There is no difference of opinion that the Prophet ﷺ passed away leaving behind nine wives."
