Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrates:
I and my father, Abbas (رضي الله عنه), were present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when Ali (رضي الله عنه) arrived.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“For the sake of Allah, no one loves me more than he (Ali) does.”
Then he said:
**“Allah placed the offspring of every prophet in his own loins, but He placed my progeny in the loins of Ali (رضي الله عنه).”

This narration is reported by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad al-Ḥāsib.

“He is unknown (majhūl), and this narration is fabricated (mawḍūʿ).”
