The primary reason for this is that he is the Prophet of the present time. No other prophet is targeted by today’s deniers and mockers — simply because all other prophets are viewed as figures of the past, not of the current era.
❖ The Truth of His Call and the Focus of Rejection
When the voice of a prophet’s call is still heard across the world, and his signs and revelations continue to challenge the times, it is only natural that those who reject the truth focus their attacks on him.Ask yourself: in today’s world, who else is calling mankind to prophethood? Whose signs continue to challenge modern minds?
✿ The Unique Standing of Muhammad ﷺ Among the Prophets
Is there any global invitation today calling nations to believe in Moses (ʿalayhis-salām)?Jesus’ followers do exist — yet they promote his divinity, not his prophethood. In reality, divinity belongs to Allah alone.
Today, it is only Muhammad ﷺ who calls humanity to prophethood.
◈ Faith and Disbelief Centered on One Prophet
Today’s believer is a follower of Muhammad ﷺ, and today’s disbeliever is a rejecter of Muhammad ﷺ.No other prophet remains the subject of acceptance or rejection.
This undeniable reality should lead one to reflect: in the entire world today, only the call of Muhammad ﷺ continues, only his message remains active, and only his challenge is alive.
✔ The Pinnacle of Prophethood: Muhammad ﷺ
There is no rival to Muhammad ﷺ in the field of divine messengership today.Whether people believe in him or reject him, he alone is the focal point.
So the real question is: Does this prophet bring everything that earlier prophets brought — or is something lacking?
When examined fairly, we find that everything once found in any prophet is present in the final message of Muhammad ﷺ, and at its highest level.
❀ The Miraculous Nature of the Qur’an
Today, Islamic scholars highlight the miraculous aspects of the Qur’an, as the Qur’an is a miracle that demonstrates its power in every era.New dimensions of its miracles emerge continually, surpassing anything imaginable in earlier times.
This emphasis on intellectual miracles is due to the scholarly and intellectual nature of the Muhammadan era.
The Qur’an is an endless treasure, with miracles that are not just read in history, but are felt and experienced by people of every age.
✦ Sensory Miracles: Abundantly Present
Though emphasis is placed on intellectual miracles today, this does not mean that the Prophet ﷺ lacked sensory miracles.In fact, renowned Islamic scholar Allama Sayyid Sulaimān Nadwī رحمه الله, in his book Sīrat al-Nabī, recorded around 200 authentic sensory miracles of the Prophet ﷺ, thoroughly supported by reliable narrations.
