The Most Beloved Names to Allah ﷻ

✿ Hadith:​


◈ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ:


«أَحَبُّ الأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ»
(صحيح أبي داود، كتاب الأدب، باب في تغيير الأسماء: 4949)


Translation:

ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar رضي الله عنهما narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The most beloved names to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, are ʿAbdullāh and ʿAbdur-Raḥmān.”
