Mufti Naeemi Sahib writes under Surah At-Tawbah (9:10):
Let those people take a lesson who prevent others from Milad Sharif, Khatm-e-Buzurgan, and other good deeds without reason. This too is preventing the path of Allah, because all these acts are done for the sake of Allah.

❀ When Milad and Khatm-e-Buzurgan are not even established, then how is preventing them preventing the path of Allah? Rather, these are innovations borrowed from other nations, so preventing them is the exact right and religious duty, as the scholars of truth prevent them.
❀ In the words of Mufti Sahib, we say: "The true identity of religion is that it is the religion of the pious predecessors; these gentlemen are the proof of guidance."

Mufti Naeemi Sahib writes under Surah Ibrahim (14:5):
"It is commendable to have scholars preach during Milad, Mi'raj, and Laylat al-Qadr because the preachers remind people of the days of Allah."

❀ Milad has no Shariah status; the scholars have called it an innovation. If there were any specific act prescribed for the birth or death anniversaries of humans, Allah Almighty would have informed us about the birth and death anniversaries of all the Prophets.
❀ Mi'raj is a reality. The Holy Prophet ﷺ experienced a physical Mi'raj while awake. When did it happen? Only Allah knows the exact time. If we do not even know its correct date, how is it praiseworthy to preach about it? How will preachers remind people of Allah’s day? Worship on the Night of Qadr is prescribed and recommended. Its virtue has also been explained, but there is no specific evidence for preaching on that night. It is clear that associating Milad and Mi'raj with the Night of Qadr is not correct.
