In the given scenario, the woman became pure after thirty-five days, so she was required to resume prayers and fasting. The fasts she observed and the prayers she performed during that period were valid and timely.
If she experiences bleeding again after completing forty days, then this blood will be considered menstrual blood (Hayd) unless it continues most of the time. In such a case, she should only refrain from prayer and fasting during her usual menstrual days. After that, she should perform Ghusl (ritual purification bath) and resume her Salah.
