Masnun Jumu‘ah Khutbah: Taqwa, Steadfastness, and Sunnah

❖ The Masnun (Prescribed) Khutbah: Taqwa, Steadfastness, and Following the Sunnah
Written by: Imran Ayyub Lahori

❖ The Masnun Khutbah

The following is the Sunnah (prescribed) format of the Friday Khutbah, which includes praise of Allah, seeking forgiveness, reminders of Taqwa, and affirmation of Tawheed and Prophethood, followed by Qur’anic admonitions and a warning against innovations.

❖ Qur’anic Reminders of Taqwa

[Āl ʿImrān: 102]

[Al-Nisāʾ: 1]

[Al-Aḥzāb: 70–71]
