❖ Meanings and Lexical Research of Na‘l, Sa‘, Qibāl, and Shis‘ ❖

Previously, I had written to you regarding the terms Na‘l (نعل), Sā‘ (صاع), al-Qibāl (القبال), and Shis‘ (شِسْع), but did not receive a response.
By Allah! My intention was neither to hurt you nor waste your time. I do not ask questions for intellectual amusement or idle talk — my purpose is sincere research so that I may act upon these matters for the pleasure of Allah.
If any form of disrespect has occurred on my part, I seek forgiveness. I hope you will kindly provide answers to these matters.
May Allah grant you immense reward, إن شاء الله.
Whether or not you respond regarding these terms is, of course, your prerogative.

There is no reason for displeasure.
The reason I did not respond earlier regarding Na‘l, Sā‘, Qibāl, and Shis‘ is because the questions you raised were already addressed in previous replies, yet it appears that those answers were not reflected upon deeply.
Additionally, regarding the investigation into the meanings of Qibāl and Shis‘ — it seems you relied only on an Urdu-Arabic dictionary, whereas the correct approach for accurate meanings is to consult the primary and authoritative Arabic lexicons, such as:
◈ Al-Qāmūs al-Muḥīṭ
◈ Lisān al-‘Arab
◈ Tāj al-‘Arūs
These works do not confirm the interpretations you derived from secondary sources like Urdu-Arabic dictionaries.
Hence, any understanding based on those less-authentic dictionaries is not dependable for technical or Shar‘i issues.
هٰذَا مَا عِندِي وَاللّٰهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّوَابِ
This is what I know; and Allah knows best what is correct.
