Journey to Divine Recognition: The Oneness and Infinite Power of Allah

πŸ–‹ Adapted from the book Awliya Allah ki Pehchaan by Abu Hamza Abdul Khaliq Siddiqi

❖ Glorification and Praise

Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah with His praise. All His names are the most beautiful, and He is free from vain and futile acts.

β—ˆ Allah is free from fatigue, drowsiness, and sleep.
β—ˆ His promises are always true and fulfilled.
β—ˆ He is pure from oppression and does not command sinful deeds.
β—ˆ Allah neither forgets nor perishes; He is eternal and everlasting.

❖ The Speech and Knowledge of Allah

β—ˆ The speech of Allah is truth, and no eye in this world can behold Him. He is free from need for food or drink.
β—ˆ He does not love the transgressors and never takes back His blessings unless people fall into ingratitude.
β—ˆ His commands and laws are unchanging.

❖ Divine Power and Knowledge

β—ˆ Allah is self-sufficient from all the worlds and is fully aware of the deeds of His servants.
β—ˆ He alone deserves all praise, and all treasures are in His possession.
β—ˆ He knows every action of every human being and everything in the heavens and earth, for He is the Knower of the unseen.
β—ˆ He knows what we hide and what we reveal, and He is aware of the states of our hearts.

❖ The Will and Decree of Allah

β—ˆ Every action occurs by His command, even the angels descend only by His order.
β—ˆ He is the best of judges, and none can override His decree.
β—ˆ He punishes for mockery and deception, and His judgments are perfect.
β—ˆ He facilitates ease for His servants, has not made religion difficult, and does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.

❖ Allah’s Forgiveness and Mercy

β—ˆ Allah invites to Paradise, forgiveness, and the home of peace.
β—ˆ He accepts repentance and forgives sins.
β—ˆ He delivers from hardship and trials, and His mercy is never withheld.
β—ˆ His mercy surpasses His wrath. If He were to punish people immediately for their deeds, no living creature would survive.

❖ Allah’s Grace upon the Believers

β—ˆ Allah has special grace and love for the believers, and He is their guardian and helper.
β—ˆ He can replace fear with safety, and is capable of bringing about drought or creating anew after total destruction.
β—ˆ If He wills, He can split the earth or make the sky fall, and is capable of sending down torment or drowning entire nations.

❖ Divine Power and Wisdom

β—ˆ Even what is hidden, like a mustard seed, is known to Allah.
β—ˆ For Him, creating, destroying, and resurrecting the entire world is like creating a single soul.
β—ˆ His every command is fulfilled instantly by the word "Kun" (Be).

❖ Sustenance and Guidance

β—ˆ He is the Owner of the East and the West, and of all the treasures in the heavens and the earth.
β—ˆ He provides sustenance in abundance to whom He wills, and does not let the faith of any believer go to waste.
β—ˆ Guidance and misguidance are from Allah alone; He guides whom He wills and misguides whom He wills.
β—ˆ He does not guide the sinful, the oppressors, the disbelievers, the liars, the transgressors, or the arrogant.
β—ˆ Allah seals the hearts of the disbelievers and makes His guidance clear before misguidance befalls.

❖ Allah’s Authority and Blessings

β—ˆ Allah grants sons to whom He wills, daughters to whom He wills, or both, or none.
β—ˆ He shows mercy to whom He wills and punishes whom He wills.
β—ˆ He honors whom He wills and humiliates whom He wills.
β—ˆ Even if all the seas were ink and all trees were pens, the words of Allah would not be exhausted.

❖ The Majesty and Glory of Allah

β—ˆ Only Allah knows the number of His armies, and He is the Most Glorious.
β—ˆ There is nothing like Him, and none is equal to Him in name or attribute.
β—ˆ His Kursi encompasses the heavens and the earth, and He is established above the Throne.
β—ˆ No one will speak before Him on the Day of Judgment.

❖ Wisdom and Divine Decree

β—ˆ Allah is constantly engaged in a new task, and everything seeks from Him.
β—ˆ No one can interfere in His decisions, and His grasp is severe.
β—ˆ Everything returns to Him, and He is swift in accounting.

❖ Divine Help and Mercy

β—ˆ Allah helps whom He wills, and help only comes from Him.
β—ˆ He is the One who brings peace to hearts, and there is none like Him.
β—ˆ He made the Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί a mercy for the entire universe.

❖ Supplication

May Allah grant us His recognition (maβ€˜rifah) and love. Ameen.
