✔ Wiping Over Socks:
Wiping over socks is permissible.
This practice is established through the traditions of the Companions, and its permissibility is endorsed in Islamic law.
✔ Wiping Over Gloves:
There is no Shar‘i evidence or legal basis for wiping over gloves.
However, if someone has an injury on the hand and has wrapped it with a bandage for protection, then it is permissible to wipe over the bandage.
✦ Conclusion:
① Wiping over socks is allowed.
② Wiping over gloves is only permitted in specific circumstances, such as an injury or wound.
