❖ Two Important Issues Regarding Qunoot in Witr: Sharʿi Verdict​

❖ Question:​


In the Witr prayer, should the duʿāʾ of Qunoot be recited before bowing (rukūʿ) or after it?
And should the hands be raised during Qunoot or not?

❖ Answer:​


Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh. Ammā baʿd:


✔ The duʿāʾ of Qunoot should be recited before bowing (rukūʿ) in the Witr prayer.


✔ And it is preferable not to raise the hands during Qunoot.
