Question:
What is the ruling on shaking hands with both hands?

Answer:
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd!

Shaking hands with both hands at the time of greeting—meaning, during a meeting clasping with both hands—is not established from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. There is no authentic narration that supports this practice.
