✔ Ruling:
It is impermissible to possess instruments of entertainment, such as musical instruments and drums,or to collect audio recordings containing melodious songs.
Additionally:
✘ Buying and selling these items is also not permissible,
✘ Their possession amounts to cooperation in sin and transgression,
✘ Earning money through their sale is unlawful, because when Allah forbids something, its price is also forbidden.
These items should be:
Destroyed or disposed of, Not used in events like weddings, as such usage promotes public display of evil.[Al-Lajnah ad-Da’imah: Fatwa No. 21404]
