This is because cinemas are generally associated with:
✘ Haram entertainment,
✘ Indecent imagery,
✘ Immoral and provocative scenes,
✘ Encouragement of immodesty and moral corruption,
✘ Stimulation of illicit desires, and
✘ Frequent intermingling of non-mahram men and women.
Such environments promote shamelessness and lead to the destruction of moral values.

✔ Ruling:
It is impermissible for a Muslim to build a cinema, and it is likewise unlawful to manage one, whether for oneself or on behalf of someone else.This is because cinemas are generally associated with:
✘ Haram entertainment,
✘ Indecent imagery,
✘ Immoral and provocative scenes,
✘ Encouragement of immodesty and moral corruption,
✘ Stimulation of illicit desires, and
✘ Frequent intermingling of non-mahram men and women.
