❖ Question:

What is the ruling on reciting the Qur’an over water or any consumable item and then drinking or eating it?

❖ Answer:

It is permissible to recite the Qur’an and perform ruqyah (spiritual healing) over any item according to one’s need, including water, food, or other consumables.

Likewise, it is also permissible to recite over a patient or over something to be consumed by the patient for the purpose of healing and blessing.
