❀ The Relationship Between Dajjal and Modern Technology ❀

Respected Shaykh, today we see the rise of various new tools based on modern technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI), which allow humans to perform astonishing feats.
Can it be said that Dajjal will also use such technologies?
Authentic Ahadith clearly state that Dajjal will possess extraordinary abilities, through which he will perform astonishing and supernatural acts. However, it remains uncertain whether Allah ﷻ will grant him such powers as a miraculous and abnormal phenomenon, beyond human comprehension, or whether they will be the result of apparent, physical means, such as the kind of technological advancements we are witnessing today.
In this context, referring to modern technology is only symbolically valid — in the sense that:
▶ If an ordinary human today can, through science and technology, perform incredible feats,
▶ Then it is certainly plausible that Dajjal, as foretold in Ahadith, will possess even more astonishing powers, causing people to fall for his deception.
However, this does not mean that all future occurrences will simply be the result of technological progress.
Only Allah ﷻ knows how far human intelligence and inventions will advance by the time Dajjal appears, or when the other signs of the Day of Judgment will manifest.
Yet, one thing is certain:
➤ No matter how advanced technology becomes,
➤ Dajjal’s actions will be so extraordinary and bewildering that people will fall into his deception,
➤ Indicating that what he brings forth will be utterly unexpected and unmatched, even by the standards of his time.
If the acts of Dajjal were simply things already achievable by humans today, such as:
✔ Flying in aircraft
✔ Using satellites and the internet
✔ AI-powered systems
✔ Animation, video editing, design software
✔ Virtual reality and the metaverse
…then there would be nothing unique about him, and people wouldn’t be deceived into believing his false claims.
The fact that he will deceive the masses shows that his abilities will be far beyond what is commonly achievable, even with cutting-edge technology.
① The appearance of Dajjal and his supernatural powers are a matter of faith, as established through reliable Islamic sources.
② The exact mechanism through which these events will occur is known only to Allah ﷻ, as no detailed explanations have been given to us.
③ Modern technology can serve as a conceptual reference, but it does not define or limit the nature of Dajjal’s reality.
④ His deception will remain exceptionally unique, even in the most advanced era.
وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّوَابِ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَرْجِعُ وَالْمَآبُ
And Allah knows best the truth, and to Him is the final return.
