Marriage requires several conditions to be met, including:
➊ The presence of a guardian (walī)
➋ Public declaration of the marriage
➌ A marital gift (mahr)
➍ Witnesses to the contract
There are several reasons why marriage to jinn is not possible, including:
➊ Where is the spouse? — Allah says:
«إنه يراكم هو وقبيله من حيث لا ترونهم»
"Indeed, he (Shayṭān) and his tribe see you from where you do not see them."
➋ Such claims open the door to immorality and deception —
• Any woman who falls into sin may claim she is married to a jinn.
• A woman who aborts a child could falsely claim the pregnancy was from a jinn.
Thus, there is no benefit in this matter, and therefore, it is not permissible.
