Derived from: Ahkam wa Masail – Qurbani and Aqiqah Issues, Volume 1, Page 440

❖ Question:

Is it permissible in Islamic law to give the meat of Qurbani (sacrificial animal) to non-Muslims?

✅ Answer:

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʾAmma baʿd!

✿ Ruling Regarding Qurbani Meat:

◈ A portion of the Qurbani meat is considered Sadaqah, and it is not permissible to give this portion to non-Muslims.
◈ The division of Qurbani meat is traditionally done into three parts:

① One part for personal consumption
② One part to be given as a gift to relatives and friends
③ One part to be given in charity to the poor and needy

✿ Important Clarification:

◈ When it comes to the portion designated for Sadaqah, it must be given to Muslim poor and needy, as they are the rightful recipients of such acts of charity in this context.
Giving this portion to non-Muslims is not permissible according to Sharī‘ah.
