Hadith of ʿAbbās ibn Sahl
“Abu Humayd, Abu Usaid, Sahl ibn Saʿd, and Muhammad ibn Maslamah gathered and discussed the Salah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Abu Humayd said,
‘I know more about the Prophet’s ﷺ prayer than all of you. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ bowed (in rukū‘), he placed his hands on his knees as though he were grasping them and distanced his arms from his sides.’”

➌ Sitting and discussing Islamic matters among companions, just as the Companions رضي الله عنهم did, is a commendable and reformative practice.
➍ During rukū‘, both hands should be placed firmly on the knees, as though gripping them.
