باب يُبْسَطُ الرِّزْقِ بِصِلَةِ الرَّحِمِ
Anas ibn Mālik (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever loves that his provision be increased and his life extended, let him uphold his ties of kinship.”
[Agreed upon: al-Bukhārī 5986, Muslim 2557]
Another narration from Anas ibn Mālik (رضي الله عنه) states that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever wishes that his life be lengthened and his provision increased, let him be kind to his parents and maintain family ties.”
[Ḥasan: Aḥmad 13401, Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in Makārim al-Akhlāq 244, al-Bayhaqī in Shuʿab al-Īmān 7471]
Abū Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever wishes that his provision be increased and his life extended, let him maintain the ties of kinship.’”
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5985]
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (رضي الله عنه) narrated from the Prophet (ﷺ):
“Whoever is pleased that his life be extended, his provision increased, and he be protected from a miserable death — let him fear Allah and maintain family ties.”
[Ḥasan: Reported by ʿAbdullāh ibn Aḥmad in Zawāʾid al-Musnad 1213, al-Ḥākim 4/160]
ʿĀʾishah (رضي الله عنها) narrated:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said to her:
“Whoever has been granted a share of gentleness has been granted a share of goodness in this world and the Hereafter. Maintaining ties of kinship, good character, and good neighborliness — these cultivate societies and increase life spans.”
[Ḥasan: Aḥmad 25259]

❖ Maintaining Family Ties Leads to Increased Provision and Prolonged Life
Anas ibn Mālik (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever loves that his provision be increased and his life extended, let him uphold his ties of kinship.”

❖ Kindness to Parents and Family Brings Barakah in Life and Rizq
Another narration from Anas ibn Mālik (رضي الله عنه) states that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever wishes that his life be lengthened and his provision increased, let him be kind to his parents and maintain family ties.”

❖ Guarantee of Sustenance and Life for Those Who Join Ties
Abū Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever wishes that his provision be increased and his life extended, let him maintain the ties of kinship.’”

❖ Taqwa and Family Kindness Protect from an Evil Death
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (رضي الله عنه) narrated from the Prophet (ﷺ):
“Whoever is pleased that his life be extended, his provision increased, and he be protected from a miserable death — let him fear Allah and maintain family ties.”
[Ḥasan: Reported by ʿAbdullāh ibn Aḥmad in Zawāʾid al-Musnad 1213, al-Ḥākim 4/160]
