Ihram for Those Residing Within the Miqat Boundaries
Narrated from Ibn ʿAbbās (RA):
After the Prophet ﷺ specified the Mawāqīt (fixed stations for Ihram), he said:
فمن كان دونهن فمن أهله وكذا فكذلك حتى أهل مكة يهلون منها
"Whoever lives within these boundaries should assume Ihram from his place of residence, and even the people of Makkah should assume Ihram from Makkah itself."
