How Can We Identify Dajjal and Deceptive Sorcerers?

Here are key signs to recognize them:

They will ask the patient for their name and the name of their mother.

They will demand some personal belonging of the patient—such as a piece of clothing, a handkerchief, or a cap.

They may ask for a specific animal to be sacrificed under certain conditions and without mentioning Allah’s name during the slaughter.

They will write mysterious symbols (talismans) and recite incomprehensible incantations that are beyond ordinary understanding.

They will give the patient a cloth wrapped in several layers containing strange letters or numbers.

They will instruct the patient to stay isolated for a specific period in a room where no sunlight enters, typically a basement or a dark chamber.

They may instruct the patient not to touch water for a set period of time.

They will give items to bury in the ground.

They may hand the patient papers to burn or throw into the sea.

They will sometimes accurately mention details such as the patient’s name, their mother’s name, their location, and the nature of their affliction.

They will demand the patient engage in sinful acts, such as:
  • Not touching or reading the Quran
  • Abandoning prayer
  • Listening to music as part of the ritual

Conclusion:

It is crucial to avoid visiting such individuals. Their practices involve deceptive methods, often leading to shirk (associating partners with Allah). Protect yourself by relying on Quranic remedies and legitimate Ruqyah practices prescribed in Islam.
