What should be done with newspapers after reading them?
Newspapers often contain Qur'anic verses, the Names of Allah, and Hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ. Therefore, they must not be dishonored in any way.
Unfortunately, some people—due to ignorance—use newspapers as a dining mat, which is highly disrespectful, especially when such newspapers contain sacred content.
If possible, the best practice is to burn these newspapers to dispose of them respectfully.
If burning is not possible, then they should be wrapped in a bag or other container and kept separately from regular discarded items, in a manner that maintains their sanctity and honor.
