Healing with Honey in the Light of Authentic Hadiths

◈ Hadith on Treatment with Honey
Abū Sa‘īd al-Khudrī (رضي الله عنه) narrated:
A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: “My brother is suffering from stomach trouble.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
«اسقه عسلا»
“Give him honey to drink.”
The man came again (after giving it) and the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
«اسقه عسلا»
“Give him honey to drink.”
He came a third time and said, “I did as you ordered, but it did not help.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
«صدق الله وكذب بطن أخيك، اسقه عسلا»
“Allah has spoken the truth, and your brother’s stomach has lied. Give him honey to drink again.”
So he gave it again, and his brother was cured.
