Ruling Summary
- Men: Shave (حلق) or shorten (تقصير) hair — shaving is more virtuous.
- Women: Only trim hair — no shaving under any circumstances.
- After stoning, trimming for women permits everything except marital relations, which become lawful only after Tawaf al-Ifadah.
