It is not permissible for a wife to take from her husband’s wealth to give in charity without his explicit consent.
However, if the amount or type of spending is such that the husband commonly permits or is known to allow, then there is no harm in giving charity from that portion.

❖ Ruling on a Wife Donating from Her Husband’s Wealth
