Generosity and Leniency in Business Dealings

❶ Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"May Allah have mercy on a man who is lenient when he sells, lenient when he buys, and lenient when he demands repayment."

❷ In the narration of Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi:
"Allah forgave a man from among those before you; he used to be lenient when he sold, lenient when he bought, and lenient when he demanded repayment."

❸ Narrated by Uthman رضي الله عنه:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, admitted a man into Paradise who used to be lenient when he bought, lenient when he sold, lenient when he judged, and lenient when he demanded repayment."
