❖ Exploitation of Women in the Name of Freedom and the Collapse of the Family System ❖

Human life is essentially composed of two distinct yet interconnected domains:
① Life Inside the Home
② Life Outside the Home
These two spheres are interdependent, and a balanced and successful life is not possible without both functioning properly. Just as domestic management is essential, so too is earning a livelihood. When both are properly managed, life improves; but disruption in either sphere disturbs the entire balance of life.
According to the divinely ordained natural order, Allah ﷻ has assigned:
✔ Men with the responsibility of managing affairs outside the home, such as:
✔ Women with the responsibility of managing affairs inside the home.
This division is rooted in divine wisdom, as men and women differ in their physical and psychological constitution:
Hence, it is naturally more suitable for men to manage external duties and for women to manage the home.
In Western societies, when moral values were sidelined in favor of absolute freedom, men began promoting the slogan of “women’s liberation” — not to truly empower women, but to escape their own responsibilities.
Women were made to believe that they must step out of their homes and work side by side with men in all fields. Through attractive slogans and emotional appeals, women were pulled out of their homes and placed in offices, hotels, and commercial centers.
Under the guise of "freedom," women were reduced to:
Commercial institutions turned women into mere decorative objects for male entertainment.
Though the rhetoric promised political and social elevation, the reality was far different — a few women rose to high positions, but the vast majority were kept in low-level service roles.
Allah ﷻ had appointed women as the caretakers of the home, so the family system could thrive, and children could receive nurturing upbringing in the mother's lap.
However, when women stepped outside, the family structure began to disintegrate:
Mikhail Gorbachev, the last President of the Soviet Union, admitted in his book Perestroika:
"By taking women out of their homes, we did gain some economic advantages, but the negative impact on the family system nullified all our achievements. Now we must consider how to bring women back to the home — otherwise, our society will face complete ruin."
✔ True honor and stability for a woman lie in fulfilling the role Allah ﷻ assigned to her
✔ The so-called freedom offered by modernity is, in reality, a means of exploitation
✔ The collapse of the family unit is a stark warning of what results when natural roles are disrupted

❀ Two Fundamental Spheres of Human Life
Human life is essentially composed of two distinct yet interconnected domains:
① Life Inside the Home
② Life Outside the Home
These two spheres are interdependent, and a balanced and successful life is not possible without both functioning properly. Just as domestic management is essential, so too is earning a livelihood. When both are properly managed, life improves; but disruption in either sphere disturbs the entire balance of life.
❖ Natural Responsibilities of Men and Women
According to the divinely ordained natural order, Allah ﷻ has assigned:
✔ Men with the responsibility of managing affairs outside the home, such as:
- Earning a livelihood
- Social and political engagement
✔ Women with the responsibility of managing affairs inside the home.
This division is rooted in divine wisdom, as men and women differ in their physical and psychological constitution:
- Men are generally physically stronger than women
- External responsibilities often demand physical effort and endurance
Hence, it is naturally more suitable for men to manage external duties and for women to manage the home.
❖ The Slogan of Women’s Freedom in Western Society
In Western societies, when moral values were sidelined in favor of absolute freedom, men began promoting the slogan of “women’s liberation” — not to truly empower women, but to escape their own responsibilities.
Women were made to believe that they must step out of their homes and work side by side with men in all fields. Through attractive slogans and emotional appeals, women were pulled out of their homes and placed in offices, hotels, and commercial centers.
❖ Exploitation of Women in the Name of Freedom
Under the guise of "freedom," women were reduced to:
- Office clerks
- Salesgirls
- Models
- Waitresses in restaurants
Commercial institutions turned women into mere decorative objects for male entertainment.
Though the rhetoric promised political and social elevation, the reality was far different — a few women rose to high positions, but the vast majority were kept in low-level service roles.
❖ Abandonment of Women's True Role and the Collapse of the Family System
Allah ﷻ had appointed women as the caretakers of the home, so the family system could thrive, and children could receive nurturing upbringing in the mother's lap.
However, when women stepped outside, the family structure began to disintegrate:
- Both parents away from home, children left to schools or daycares
- Children deprived of maternal care
- Emotional distance between spouses, rising cases of divorce
- Breakdown of familial bonds and moral decline
❖ Western Experts Acknowledge Failure
Mikhail Gorbachev, the last President of the Soviet Union, admitted in his book Perestroika:
"By taking women out of their homes, we did gain some economic advantages, but the negative impact on the family system nullified all our achievements. Now we must consider how to bring women back to the home — otherwise, our society will face complete ruin."
❖ Conclusion
✔ True honor and stability for a woman lie in fulfilling the role Allah ﷻ assigned to her
✔ The so-called freedom offered by modernity is, in reality, a means of exploitation
✔ The collapse of the family unit is a stark warning of what results when natural roles are disrupted
