Five Blasphemous Beliefs of Mr. Pervez in Light of His Own Books
Compiled by: Tauheed.com
In the December 1998 issue of the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Imān, a fatwa by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Shaykh ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz bin ʿAbdullāh bin Bāz رحمه الله, was published regarding Ghulam Ahmad Pervez and his followers. After reviewing Pervez’s beliefs and ideologies, the Shaykh declared him and his adherents to be disbelievers.
The objective of this article is:
◈ To present the beliefs and ideologies of Ghulam Ahmad Pervez and his followers directly from references to their own authored books.
◈ To make it explicitly clear that Pervez and his associates are promoters of blasphemous beliefs.
◈ To remove any doubt or ambiguity regarding their disbelief and apostasy.
◈ To affirm that the fatwa of Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله — declaring these people as disbelievers and apostates — is absolutely correct, true, and based on undeniable evidence.
◈ Because Pervez’s own writings clearly confirm that his beliefs are contrary to Islamic teachings and grounded in blasphemous ideologies, and his thoughts are solid proof of their heresy and apostasy.
According to the Muslims, the fundamental beliefs of Islam are as follows:
➊ Faith in Allah ﷻ
➋ Faith in the Prophethood and Messengership of Muhammad ﷺ
➌ Faith in the Day of Judgment
➍ Faith in the Angels
➎ Faith in the Noble Qur’an
It is the affirmation and acknowledgment of these beliefs that make a person a Muslim. Denying or altering these beliefs in any self-serving manner renders one a disbeliever and outside the fold of Islam.
In the sections ahead, the following points will be made clear:
◈ What do these fundamental beliefs mean according to the consensus of the Muslim Ummah?
◈ And how Ghulam Ahmad Pervez and his followers have been engaged in the malicious effort of distorting, rejecting, or denying these beliefs.
