False Hadith About Hundred Years Reward in Rajab Explained

⚠ The Ruling on the Narration Regarding the Reward of Hundred Years of Good Deeds in Rajab ⚠

A narration is attributed to Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه in which it is reported:


“There is a night in the month of Rajab during which the one who performs righteous deeds is rewarded with the equivalent of a hundred years of good deeds.”


Is this narration authentic?

✅ Clarification by Scholars:


Numerous scholars of knowledge have explicitly stated that no Hadith affirming any special virtue of the month of Rajab is authentic. What is authentically established is only that Rajab is one of the sacred months.


⛔ This narration is false (باطل).

There is no authentic evidence supporting any special reward associated with specific nights or acts of worship in the month of Rajab. Muslims are advised to avoid spreading or acting upon fabricated or baseless narrations.
