❖ Question

Can any Qur’anic supplication be recited in the final tashahhud of prayer? And if the Sunnah prayers before Ẓuhr are missed due to delay, can they be performed after the obligatory prayer?

❖ Answer

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā Baʿd!

✿ Yes, in the final tashahhud, any duʿā from the Qur’an and Sunnah may be recited.

✿ If the Sunnah prayers before Ẓuhr are missed, they may be offered after the obligatory prayer. There is no harm in doing so.
