Fatwa by: Former Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Ibn Baz (رحمہ اللہ)
Question:
I performed wudu (ablution) and then washed my child's impurity. Does this invalidate my wudu?
Answer:
Washing impurity from the body, whether a person is in a state of wudu or not, does not break wudu. However, if you touch the child's private parts, your wudu will be invalidated. Just as touching your own private parts breaks wudu, similarly, touching the private parts of a child also invalidates wudu.
