"Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out one night. I felt jealous about him. He came back and saw what I was doing, so he said:
‘What happened, Aisha? Did you feel jealous?’
I replied, ‘Why would someone like me not feel jealous over someone like you?’ Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
‘Has your Satan (Qareen) come to you?’
I asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, is there a Satan with me?’ He (ﷺ) said: ‘Yes.’
I asked, ‘Is there one with every human being?’ He (ﷺ) replied: ‘Yes.’
I asked, ‘Even with you, O Messenger of Allah?’
He (ﷺ) replied: ‘Yes, but my Lord helped me against him, and he submitted (or became Muslim).’"
(Sahih Muslim, Kitab Sifat al-Qiyamah wal-Jannah wan-Nar, Hadith No. 2815)
This Hadith highlights that every human is accompanied by a Qareen (a companion devil), whose purpose is to mislead and tempt. However, Allah provided the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) protection, neutralizing the harmful effects of his Qareen.
