Yes, like humans and other living beings, jinn are also subject to death.
It is narrated from Sayyidunā Ibn ʿAbbās (raḍiyallāhu ʿanhumā) that the Prophet ﷺ said:
"….. أَنتَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ، وَالْجِنُّ وَالْإِنسُ يَمُوتُونَ"
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī Ḥadīth No. 7383, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim Ḥadīth No. 2717]
“O Allah! You are the Ever-Living who never dies, and the jinn and mankind do die.”
This clearly establishes that death is decreed for the jinn, just as it is for all other living beings.
❀ Do the Jinn Die?
