Yes, it is true that the Prophets also had enemies, and these enemies were both from humans and jinn, as confirmed by the Quran.
Allah Almighty states:
"And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy—devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent."
[Surah Al-An’am: 112]
This verse addresses Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), explaining that just as he faced opposition and enmity, previous prophets were also confronted by enemies from both humans and jinn. The reason for their opposition was to deceive people through beautified but false words.
Allah reassures His Messenger (ﷺ) that he should not be troubled by this opposition, as it is a recurring test faced by all prophets.
Allah further says:
"And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper."
[Surah Al-Furqan: 31]
① Human devils: Those who opposed the prophets through plots, mockery, and enmity.
② Jinn devils: Those who whispered doubts and deceptions into the hearts of the people, encouraging them to reject the message of the prophets.
