What is your view regarding the descent of ʿIsa (Jesus, peace be upon him)?
❖ Answer
The descent of ʿIsa (عليه السلام) is a truth. The Qur’an, mutawatir ahadith, and the consensus of the Ummah all affirm it.
❀ Hafiz Ibn Kathir (رحمه الله, 774H) said:
ينزل من السماء قبل يوم القيامة، كما دلت عليه الأحاديث المتواترة.
“ʿIsa (peace be upon him) will descend from the heavens before the Day of Judgment, as the mutawatir ahadith indicate.”
